Greetings from the Director

Welcome to the Kyungwoon Museum at Gyeonggi Girls' High School.

The museum was established in 2003 through the alumni’s generous donations and contributions.

Over the past 20 years, the museum has grown into a specialized institution boasting a collection of over 15,000 artifacts. It hosts at least two curated exhibitions annually, inviting visitors to experience the beauty of traditional Korean culture. Furthermore, we are dedicated to fostering global cultural exchange, extending our reach beyond Korea and Asia to broaden our knowledge and appreciation of diverse cultures worldwide.

The museum also systematically collects and archives modern costume artifacts to provide research opportunities and resources for students specializing in costume studies. It regularly hosts high-quality lectures for local residents and develops creative educational programs to inspire the next generation. Moving forward, the Kyungwoon Museum is committed to becoming a distinguished and innovative institution that embraces both the past and present, elevating pride in Korean culture and sharing profound moments of inspiration with everyone.
